Its average temperatures in the summertime normally have lows in the high 50s and highs in the upper 80s. In the wintertime, it almost never gets colder than 30 degrees. What is the terrain like in Ridgeview Village?
The terrain in Ridgeview Village is very hilly like most of the El Dorado Hills area. Its streets constantly slope up and down and wind around sharp corners. Many points in the neighborhood are relatively high up and will give you a good vantage point to look down on surrounding neighborhoods and communities. The development is only a few decades old, so even though there is some foliage and greenery on every road, much of the environment is paved and artificial.
Ridgeview Valley will not have heavy foot or street traffic at any time of day, although things will get a little busier around rush hour. Some commuters who work in Sacramento live in the neighborhood and will be going to and from the city, but for the most part, you shouldn’t have any trouble walking in the neighborhood. Just keep in mind that pavement and concrete can get hot in the summer, so exercise caution when walking.

Ridgeview Village has a few small parks within its borders and some larger ones that are within easy walking distance. Kalithea Park, located on the northern side of the neighborhood, is known for its beautiful views of both Fulsom Lake and the city of Sacramento. Just two blocks south of Kalithea Park is Ridgeview 7 Park which is much smaller in size but still has a playground and some open green space. Parkview Heights Park is located another few steps east of Kalithea Park and it is larger than Ridgeview Park with picnic tables, open green space, and another playground.
