West Adams is a neighborhood located on the south side of Los Angeles, California. The neighborhood is known for its historic buildings and is a 15-minute commute to the downtown Los Angeles business district. There are restaurants, shops, grocery stores, and other services lining West Adams Boulevard which runs east-west in the district and along Crenshaw Boulevard. These local business are accessible on foot for area residents.

Los Angeles has a hot, dry climate with rainfall mostly occurring in winter months. Temperatures are usually well above freezing and there is no need for heavy winter wear. Hot summer days can be uncomfortable for long walks and can even be dangerous if you or your dog become dehydrated. When the mercury climbs, you and your pooch may find it much more pleasant to go out earlier or later in the day to avoid the heat. Remember to take extra water for you and your pet!
