The East Cut has about three greenways in its border and is a feasible walk from Rincon Park, the Yerba Beuna Gardens, and the San Francisco Pier. Sidewalks are wide open, moderately crowded, and offer shade from the moderately warm California sun. Despite being in the west, this region's temperatures are actually fairly moderate and don't tend to dip into extremes very often.
On the southern edge of the neighborhood, just past Harrison at Fremont is Emerald Park. Emerald is quaint with luscious grass, shade, and park benches. Lastly, if you're down to cross under I-80, Rincon Hill Dog Park sits just on the other side! It's enclosed, expansive, and provides water for your pup to drink and splash in. It's a perfect place if you're nearby or able to trek.
