Let’s Feed Some Shelter Dogs During Adopt a Shelter Dog Month!

If you use the Wag! app to provide pet care for your pup, you may know that a portion of walk proceeds goes to feed shelter dogs. We’ve long partnered with GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank to make this happen. So far, your walks have helped provide more than eight million meals to shelter dogs across the country.  

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, as proclaimed by the ASPCA. We’d like to mark the month by providing an extra helping of food to shelter dogs. And you can help us!

For every new follower we gain on the @wag Instagram account during the month of October — up to 10,000 — we’ll donate a meal to a shelter dog. That’s 10,000 meals and a lot of kibble!

If you don’t follow the @wag account on Instagram, please do so! And if you think your friends will want to help provide a meal to a shelter dog, spread the word by tagging them in our Oct. 1 post. 

Not only will you and your friends feel good knowing that you’re helping feed shelter dogs, you’ll also have a new pup pic in your Instagram feed every day. If you’re like us, you can never get enough of those. :-)
