Dupont Circle, like most of Washington, D.C., is an urban neighborhood, meaning you will find little natural terrain. The neighborhood has plenty of sidewalks and, like the rest of the city, is incredibly pedestrian-friendly. In the more residential areas, there are mature, large trees that provide shade in the summertime and, in the more commercial areas, many business have awnings that cover the sidewalks.

This neighborhood is also relatively flat, so you shouldn't have a difficult time exploring and getting your daily walks in. This is perfect for pups with mobility issues.

The boundaries of Dupont Circle include Florida Avenue, Massachusetts Avenue, and U Street to the north, 15th Street to the east, M Street to the south, and 22nd Street to the west.
