Give a Wag! Gives to Hemet Shelters

The Ramona Humane Society’s mission is to help, rescue, and re-home animals in need as well as to educate the community with regards to the health and well-being of pets. It was established in 1969 and for nearly half a century has been helping homeless, stray, and abandoned dogs, cats, and other animals to find loving new homes and families. This is a non-profit organization and offers a range of additional services such as low-cost neutering, spaying, and vaccinations. The society runs a number of community programs as well as offering online advice and resources for those who own or are thinking of taking on a pet.

The Wolf Creek Dog Rescue facility was opened in 2010 and has already taken in and helped many abandoned and homeless dogs find new homes. In addition to rescuing and re-homing dog, the shelter also provides professional training for dogs with behavioral problems. This is done to try and reduce the number of people that decide to relinquish their pets solely because of behavior issues that could be rectified with the help of an expert. The shelter is family owned and run and is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to finding new, loving families for the dogs in their care.

Located in the San Jacinto area, Living Free Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and care of animals in need. The sanctuary focuses on caring for dogs and cats that are homeless until they can be homed with a new family. The sanctuary also rescues animals from kill shelters in order to reduce euthanasia numbers and help save the lives of these adorable dogs and cats. There are many ways in which people can help, such as adoption, donation, or volunteer work. The sanctuary cares for animals in a soothing environment without cages, giving them freedom as well as the care and love that they need.
