Give a Wag! Gives to Palmdale Shelters

Palmdale Animal Care Center is an animal shelter that takes in strays as well as animals from pet owners who no longer have the ability to look after them. The shelter then aims to find new homes and families for the animals through their adoption process. For those that adopt a pet through this shelter, financial assistance is provided to help with neutering and spaying costs, vaccinations, and vet checkups. This is a nonprofit organization with hardworking volunteers that provide a safe environment for dogs, cats, and other animals until they can find a suitable new home.

The California Animal Rescue and Education Sanctuary, also known simply as C.A.R.E.S., rescues both domestic and farm animals who have been abandoned or are homeless. The shelter ensures that all dogs and cats are spayed and neutered before being re-homed. In addition, C.A.R.E.S. investigates cases of animal cruelty or abuse, conducts a variety of neighborhood programs to help stray animals, and provides educational resources and information for those looking after pets. The rescue even provides financial aid to families on low incomes so that they can get their pets spayed or neutered.

High Desert Angels for Animals works predominantly in the field of dog and cat rescue. This animal shelter focuses on finding suitable homes and families for their rescued pets. All of the animals are featured on the shelter website, so finding the purrfect cat or pooch is a simple process. You can then complete the adoption application with a view to providing your chosen pet with a new home and a new life. The shelter also provides a range of valuable information relating to pet care and health as well as encouraging others to volunteer and help out with the cause.
