Give a Wag! Gives to Pflugerville Shelters

As a suburb of Austin, one of America’s most pet-friendly cities, Pflugerville is perfectly located to take advantage of the best doggy experiences the city has to offer! From an animal welfare point of view, it also means there are plenty of dog lovers ready to lend a hand to pets in need.

Pflugerville Pets Alive! is an ideal example of this. A non-profit organization run exclusively by volunteers, Pflugerville Pets Alive! is committed to helping the homeless pets of Pflugerville to be healthy and find safe and happy homes.

To achieve this goal, it runs a range of programs to benefit the pets at the Pflugerville Animal Shelter, such as providing foster care to shelter pets in need and transporting animals when necessary. The group also helps local animal lovers adopt their next furry friend, and is always on the lookout for donations, volunteers, or simply anyone who can help spread the word about its work.

Friends of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter is also committed to saving the lives of Pflugerville’s animals. Another all-volunteer non-profit, this group’s single purpose is to support the Pflugerville Animal Welfare Services mission to offer a caring environment for homeless animals without the need to euthanize any pets due to treatable conditions or over-crowding.

By assisting with medical and surgical care, essential supplies, community promotions, and asoption events, Friends of the Pflugerville Animal Shelter offers invaluable help to pets in need. If you’d like to help, visit the organization’s website for information on how to donate.
