I’m a dog lover to the max! I love to meet new furry friends and will promise to give your dog the attention and cuddles it deserves. I’m a hard worker and reliable, I will give as many updates as you want and make sure your dog is safe in my care.
HI! My name is Joumanah. I love dogs and being fit so walking dogs is my absolute favorite! I have never had the chance to own my own dog because of always living in rentals as a kid, but in college I lived with a roommate for a year that had a chocolate lab. She would often go on trips or have long class periods so I would take him on walks, make sure he was fed and keep him trained on any new tricks or discipline he had learned. I always had friends growing up with dogs, so I would hang around them as well. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a year in high school and would walk any dogs in need of some excercise!

Prattville Autauga Humane Society is a small, non-profit, animal shelter that supports the wider Prattville and Autauga area. It runs a very tight ship with a variety of volunteers on board to help feed, clean, medicate and socialize the animals. They rely heavily on donations from the public and local businesses and often make calls to the public to rally support.
Because they are small, they operate with smaller budgets, but they still manage to give medical care to the animals that are injured. They work really hard to find the original owners of lost pets, and if they cannot, they offer the animals up for adoption. They run educational programs to help the public become accustomed to looking after their animals. They also run regular sweepstakes, games and contests to help fundraise for the shelter.
Their volunteer program gets people from the wider community to help socialize the animals by playing with them. Many animals that end up in the shelter are frightened, so the volunteers aid them in overcoming their fears. The volunteers enjoy the time they spend with the little critters.
The Prattville Autauga Humane Society Animal Shelter is the cornerstone of integrity, possessing an attitude of empowerment that goes a long way in supporting unwanted, abandoned, abused and neglected animals. They operate their organization with the utmost of care. They are an incredible resource for the locals. Many animals are re-homed and are able to find their forever families because of these hard workers!
This extravaganza takes place each October. Join in on this annual hit! Take part in little sweepstakes, dress up your pet in a sweet doggy costume, bring your kiddos along for games, enjoy a delightful and delicious bake-off, and visit the pet vendors who'll be selling their merchandise. It is a great day for the whole family! There is no entrance fee, but the raffle tickets are sold at $25 a pop. This is a paw-tastic experience for your little, tail-wagging friend. Head on over to Cooters Pond Park for this afternoon of fun.
In association with The Super Groomer, a vast volunteer network comes together to wash, pamper and groom the dogs at the shelter. These dogs will be given away and adopted out to the visitors. Come and grab your family for a paw-fect way to spend the day helping the animal shelter dogs get groomed! If you can lend a hand, just let them know. It really is a superb cause that will help a ton of dogs.

Cooters Pond Dog Park is a large, fenced-in dog park that is worth checking out! It has a number of trash cans available to help with clean-ups. Outside of the dog park is a picnic area that you can take advantage of. Dogs really enjoy the waterfront, and of course hanging out with other hounds. The park has play features for the dogs and is heavily lined with oak trees making it a beautiful spot to enjoy a walk with your pet pooch. It really is a lovely park, and makes a great outing for your family.
Come explore this very beautiful park, adorned with wildflowers and ornamental pear trees. It is located on a steep hillside between second and state streets. It boasts a waterfall and pretty stone boulders for your pup to climb on! It also has a small playground for children and bathrooms if you need them. Lots of fun can be had here for the family and your four-legged friend! The park is a special place to take both the kids and Fido. The Overlook Memorial Park has facilities and a playground that is suitable for those physically impaired. The trail in the park is 0.5-miles long. All of these amenities make it a go-to destination for the entire family.
