Hellooooo Puppy parents! I am a proud parent to a very active cockapoo named Barney and an older sweet morkie girl named Roxy. I have owned, rescued or cared for fur babies since I was a child. Before covid I was set to open a local doggie daycare/swimming retreat, unfortunately that dream was put on hold so here we are just trying to find a way to love on them babies while the parents are away!

Dog Boarding in Hot Springs

You say Arkansas, we say BARKANSAS!  Hot Springs, Arkansas is the 11th largest city in the state, full of people and their loving canine pals.  Hot Springs was named after it's 40 plus thermal springs that reach 143 degrees.  In earlier days, these mineral-rich waters were thought to hold curative properties for those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis.  The Native Americans even used them as bathing pools.

Did you know October was Adopt-A-Shelter-Pet Month?  Need a new furry pal?  Check out the Humane Society of Garland County.  They are a 501(3) (c) donation funded organization.  Their mission is simple:  “to rescue adoptable animals without homes and to provide safety and nurturing while working to find safe, loving permanent homes for them.”  They spay and neuter all incoming pets, vaccinate and treat them for heartworms while they wait to be adopted.  They also have a local thrift store whose proceeds go directly back into the shelter.  They are a “no-kill” shelter meaning once they are full, they cannot accept any more furry tenants.  They are open 6 days a week; closed Mondays.
