Give a Wag! Gives to Cave Creek Shelters

The Animal Guardian Network was founded in 2009 and operate as a non-profit organization. It is not funded by the Government and thus relies solely on donations from the public, local businesses and community groups. This marvelous animal shelter provides life-saving care and rehabilitation for all the homeless, abandoned, abused and neglected dogs that are in their care. They also look after animals with special needs. They have a small thrift shop which helps offset the costs of running the sanctuary and they also have a small volunteer network. For any looking for a new pet, they have a program in place for people who would like to adopt an animal from their shelter. Their grounds have a play yard, a chapel, a healing center and an inn. They supply a whole range of services and really make a difference in their animal’s lives. Overall, they are a heart-warming and lovely sanctuary that provides a loving environment for the animals in their care.

The Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge is home to a variety of creatures and provides a sanctuary for all misplaced animals in the area. They were established in 2005 and are dedicated to rehabilitating and caring for abused and neglected animals. They offer permanent homes to some of the animals, although they do also like to find forever families for most of the pets in their care. They operate a no-kill policy and all animals, whether they are pigs, sheep, horses, dogs or cats, can find refuge here. The great thing about the Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge is that they are open to the public for visiting and playing with the animals. It is a fabulous place that is very kind and open-hearted in their mission to save animals.
