“This Wagster has walked a dog or two.”

I used to be an owner of 2 dogs and 2 cats living together. The dogs were more playful than the cats as you would expect. The cats were always in their own zone minding their business. All 4 (Both cats and both dogs) still got along well. I walked and fed the dogs every day and occasionally took them to dog parks. The dogs were trained by professionals, and I followed along with day by day instructions since they were puppies. One of them is 5, the other is 3. Now, I currently live with no pets.

Dog Boarding in Mesa

For outdoor adventurers, Mesa, Arizona offers stunning desert landscapes, cactus forests, and gorgeous mountains to hike or bike. Whether visitors come to explore the varied terrain, or to try out the amazing food of this historic area, there’s certainly plenty to keep them busy. But when Mesa residents decide to take their own vacation, their fur-baby is not always invited.

When planning your next excursion, Mesa dog boarding and dog sitting services may be just the perfect fit for your pups needs, balancing familiar comfort with the best in safety and care. Comfortable, in-home overnight care can alleviate many of the stresses your dog may experience while you are away. And since many local dog boarders and sitters are also Mesa dog walkers, your dog could have an adventure all their own. With your permission, your pup could sniff out the neighborhood, take a spin along a desert trail, or search for gold on a mountain path.

Are you searching for the best accommodations for your dog while you are gone? Let’s see just how much overnight care costs in Mesa.

Average Cost of Dog Boarding in Mesa, AZ

The type of traditional dog kennels that conjure up images of caged dogs crammed in next to each other are rare nowadays. Instead, you’ll find lots of variety in dog boarding near you that will appeal to every kind of pup.

Most dog boarding services offer individual rooms which can average around $40 to $50 per night, while luxury suites can be as much as $160 or more. They usually offer mealtimes, potty breaks and playtimes, and some even feature relaxing music, private outdoor runs, and raised bedding, pillows and blankets. There are even rooms with webcams to offer you anytime views from wherever you are.

Be discerning when looking over rates and what they include, as several add-ons can also add on to your cost. Non-social dogs who need more one-on-one time with staff members could increase pricing, as can photo updates, grooming services, pool and water activities, walks, all-day play, and even extra TLC. Late pick-ups and holiday bookings can also incur additional fees.

Starting at just $39, Mesa dog boarders through Wag! offer an affordable alternative that keeps your dog in a familiar, cozy environment while enjoying individual, personalized care throughout their stay.

Average Cost of Dog Sitting in Mesa, AZ

If your dog is more of a homebody, in-home dog sitters near you can make their staycation pawsome! The average price for dog sitting in Mesa is around $70, but can be as much as $95 depending on how long the sitter stays in your home.

Often, local dog sitters will offer two kinds of services, overnight dog sitting and live-in care. Overnight services range from 8 to 12 hours, and span throughout the evening to the next morning. Included are mealtimes, playtimes and potty walks, and of course all the love your pup can handle. Live-in care offers a longer sit, from 18 to 24 hours within a period of one day, which gives your sitter more time to pamper your pup, as well as help take care of household chores such as bringing in the mail or watering the plants.

Dog sitting near you is a great choice if your dog suffers from separation anxiety as it keeps them in their own space and on their regular routine. And with Mesa dog sitters through Wag! starting at $39, your pup can relax in all their favorite spots while enjoying the good life with a compassionate caregiver.
