HI! My name is Susan. We always had dogs growing up. They were my play buddies. I have 2 dogs - a beagle mix and a Chow/Sharpei mix. We also have cats. That's a big happy houseful! I can't wait to meet your dog!

Animal Rescue Friends, Ltd. (ARF) is a foster-based rescue housing neglected, abused, abandoned, sick, aged and unwanted animals. There is no physical rescue to go to visit the pets that are up for adoption; simply click on their website and be prepared to fall in love with all those innocent, gorgeous faces.
ARF believes that by fostering their beloved pets in homes, the pets are able to be socialized more quickly to other humans and other pets without the distractions that a loud, busy shelter. We are comfortable in our homes, right? Your foster pet will be too! The foster family is able to spend extra one-on-one time with their foster pet, ensuring the pet gets all the love, attention and extra cuddles he or she needs.
If you would like to become a foster family, the first step is filling out an application on their website. Someone will be in touch with you shortly after to interview you, visit your home and family and make sure your house is ready to receive and love a new foster pet. If you are approved to become a foster family, ARF will cover all medical costs your foster pet may have as well as a crate, food, bedding and toys. The foster paw-rents are also responsible for bringing their foster pets to weekend adoption events and to their vet appointments.
If you would like to meet any of ARF's amazing and lovable furry friends, check their website for nearby adoption events or arrange for a one-on-one cuddle session to get to know the dog a little bit better before making this life-long commitment. After you decide on your new friend, a volunteer from ARF will pay you and your family a visit to ask a few questions and make sure your house is the perfect match for their little treasure.
ARF is an all-volunteer rescue - there is no paid staff. This means that everything that is done to better the lives of all of their foster animals is done selflessly by ARF's amazing, dedicated, hard-working volunteer paw army! If you have any spare time you can give to this great organization, please submit a volunteer application, also found on their website. ARF always needs help transporting pets to and from the vet or adoption events, helping out at fundraisers and adoption events by walking the dogs and cleaning up after them and playing with them of course - the best "job" of all!
Thank you, ARF for all that you do for the love of animals!
Say cheese Fido, it's Santa! Everyone needs a picture of their furry friend with Santa to sit on their holiday mantle each year. Bring your most well-behaved pup (Santa and his elves will be watching and updating the good and naughty lists) and receive a keepsake photo you will always treasure of your pup and his other hero, Santa Paws! All proceeds will benefit the Arizona Small Dog Rescue so please give a generous donation for your photo to this very worthy and hard-working rescue!

This is a free event - well, the smells are free, the bites will cost you a little dough! Be sure to clean up after your little furry friend while in the park and please, no retractable leashes for the safety of everyone.
