The annual Doggy Dash held by the Sacramento SPCA is a yearly dogapalooza that features a 5k or 2k doggy dash followed by a Bark in the Park event that puts most dog festivals to shame. Come one, come all to one of the best SPCAs best events - Yappy hour! You and your pup can enjoy monthly yappy hours at a revolving door of breweries, bars, and restaurants. We're talking tons of friendly pups, pawrents, and of course, lots of beer and appetizers! Don't miss out on special themed nights, and of course, all proceeds will help benefit SPCA of Sacramento! Fall Gala
Do you have yourself a fancy pooch who loves a classy party? Then you won't want to miss the annual SPCA Fall Gala. This event is set up to help raise money for the SPCA pups in the Sacramento and Auburn (and surrounding) areas. Last year, the SPCA hosted a roaring 20's pawty and they went all out - we're talking flapper pooches and plenty of delicious food and drinks! Don't miss out on this years annual shin-dig. It's the perfect chance to enjoy a night with your pup while donating to a worthy cause you care about!12
Pup Parks
Pup parks are a classic attraction for any city, so it's only natural that Auburn would have some of the finest! It also has easy access to other cities parks as well. One of our favorites is the Ashley Memorial Dog Park in Auburn. This free-to-use pup paradise is a well-maintained, shaded, fun pup-play area that provides pooches of all sizes with their own space to romp around and enjoy life! What's better? Plans are in the works to add on more to this fun pup park! Soon, the park will have an agility course and a pond for pups to splash around in.
Hidden Falls Regional Trail
If you've got yourself an adventure pooch who can't keep his tail off the trails, we've got a spot for you! The Hidden Falls Regional Trail is a pup-friendly hike that will keep you and your pooch entertained for hours. With well-maintained trails, lots of open space, and rushing waterfalls, it's the ultimate haven to get away to with your four-legged friend. Don't forget to keep your pooch leashed, though!
