Give a Wag! Gives to Fountain Valley Shelters

The people at PoochMatch, in nearby Santa Ana, California are passionate about animal rescue! They open themselves to all breeds and take in the unwanted, homeless, elderly, injured, pregnant, broken in spirit, hungry, thirsty, abandoned, sick, dirty, seniors, adults, puppies, flea & tick ridden and those poor puppers who have been hit by cars.  They love all animals unconditionally, which is something they must have learned from their furry, beloved friends whom they care for.  All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption as well as microchipped, dewormed, fecal checked and fully vaccinated.  They provide education to the public on responsible pet ownership, the importance of spaying and neutering pets, and how to love and respect all living creatures.  If you would like to volunteer, or donate, or even adopt a new best fur buddy, they would love to see you!

    #1 Santa Ana River Trail

Had a RUFF  day?  Leash up Fido and head over to the Santa Ana River Trail for a nice relaxing walk!  The trial is 12 feet wide so you won't feel crowded or rushed, but don't forget to share the road with bikers, wheelchairs or rollerbladers.  The 50.3-mile trail begins as it merges with the Huntington Beach Bicycle Trail.  It winds through Costa Mesa and Fountain Valley to Santa Ana, from Orange to Anaheim, (GO DUCKS!) to Corona.  There is a large gap currently under construction, then the trail resumes again at Hidden Valley, Riverside, Colton and ends right after you reach the city limits of San Bernardino. Truly a bark-tacular way to spend the day with your mutt!
