Give a Wag! Gives to Garden Grove Shelters

Like so many cities across California, Garden Grove boasts a large community of dog lovers and animal welfare advocates. Unsurprisingly, it’s also home to a number of animal rescue organizations that are always ready to take any action necessary to help animals in need.

WAGS Pet Adoption is one of those groups. This open-admission animal rehabilitation and adoption center serves Westminster and Southern California, rescuing neglected and unwanted companion animals in need of a helping paw.

With a mission to provide the best quality of care, advocacy and shelter for lost and homeless animals, its shelter is located in Westminster and is open seven days a week. WAGS Pet Adoption is always on the lookout for donations and volunteers, and is certainly worthy of recognition and support.

Orange County Humane Society also works tirelessly as an advocate for animal welfare in and around the Garden Grove area. Founded in 1949, the society provides temporary safe refuge for sick, injured, lost, neglected, abused, and unwanted animals in need of a second chance. Wherever possible, it aims to help those animals find the happiness they deserve in loving forever homes.

A non-profit organization, Orange County Humane Society opens the doors of its shelter seven days a week. Along with its shelter and adoption services, it also educates the wider community about responsible pet ownership and takes in animals from other shelters in surrounding counties that are struggling to cope with the influx of unwanted pets.

Its shelter has helped more than 100,000 pets find forever homes, and the support and donations it receives from the public will help the society continue to help animals in need for many years to come.
