Sarah was great with our dogs, easy to work with, and followed our instructions well. My only concern is that when Sarah dropped off the dogs with us for our wedding photos one of them was practically unresponsive, which was very alarming. Sarah said she had been acting strangely that day and wasn t sure why. We had to rush our dog to the emergency room and asked Sarah multiple times if there was anything she could tell us that would help get our dog the care she needed. Sarah said there wasn t anything noteworthy, but later in the evening after returning home and having a candid chat with my mom Sarah shared that the dog had gotten into something while under her care. Our dog is a puppy and gets into things frequently so we wouldn t have been upset with Sarah, and wish Sarah would have been forthcoming from the beginning. The vet was able to confirm that this substance was the source of the dogs illness, but only after a 24 hour visit and an expensive medical bill. It caused a lot of emotional trauma on our wedding day that could have been skipped if we could have had an honest conversation straight away. I don t say this to hurt anyone or to infer that Sarah is not a good caretaker, I just think it s exceedingly important to have complete transparency when you re responsible for the well-being of other peoples much loved pets. I hope Sarah will consider this feedback for future stays and let owners know immediately if something potentially concerning has occurred.
