Open since 2004, Alcove is an American eatery with a dog-friendly patio. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Autograph hounds flock here at the chance of catching a glimpse of the rich and famous with their dogs; Natalie Portman was spied there recently with her Yorkie, Whiz! The cafe is located inside two of the oldest houses in the area, dating back to 1897. Alcove is full of character and offers an incredible edible fare! This annual event in nearby LA's Griffith Park is sponsored by LA Frontrunners to raise funds for PAWS/LA. There are two separate races - one for humans and one for pets AND their people.
