Give a Wag! Gives to Huntington Park Shelters

Just 4.3 miles from Huntington Park, you can find the Bark Avenue Foundation in Los Angeles, California.  Their mission is: " empower pet owners and local communities to reduce abandoned animal populations through spay/neuter, pet retention and reclamation and education."  They are a non-profit animal rescue that not only have wonderful pets up for adoption but have several programs to benefit the community and their pets like spay/neuter programs, free pet tags, gently used bedding, collars, leashes, pet food and emergency care for those with four legs.

In addition to this, they also pride themselves in their many teaching programs for K-5 children to teach respect and compassion for our companion animals and all living creatures.  Bark Avenue even assists the many homeless inhabitants of LA and their pets.  They do a lot of good for a lot of creatures. Volunteers and donations are always appreciated.
