Give a Wag! Gives to Mission Viejo Shelters

Mission Viejo is a small, master-planned community sandwiched between San Diego and Los Angeles. Located in Orange County, Mission Viejo is a prime spot for you and your pup to live. Though there aren't an overwhelming amount of events in the city limits, it's close enough to bigger, dog-friendlier cities that provide you and your pup with plenty to do.

That doesn't mean that the local shelters that service the area don't provide entertainment and shelter services, though. One of the biggest shelters to service Mission Viejo is the Saddleback Humane Society. This organization, open for almost 20 years, is a non-profit that doesn't just provide a safe place to house animals until they're rehomed, they also offer spay and neuter services, educational programs, fundraising opportunities, and pet assisted therapy programs!

Another shelter that services the area is the Pet Rescue Center. Developed with the main goal of saving the lives of pups from euthanasia, the Pet Rescue Center has helped feed over 1,440 dogs since its inception with about 100,000 pounds of food!

The La Paws Park in Mission Viejo is a local-loved, fenced in, off-leash dog park for you and your pup to enjoy together.
