Walk for Animals
This family and dog-friendly event is an annual fundraiser for Napa Humane, an animal welfare organization serving the Napa Valley. This leisurely walk through downtown Napa is a great opportunity to strut with your mutt in support of the animals throughout the area! Registration includes a t-shirt, goodie bag, and entry to the fun happening at Oxbow Commons, where the walk concludes. There will be pet-centered activities, contests, live music, photo opportunities, a silent auction, and more! What's even better is that 100% of the proceeds benefit the efforts of Napa Humane. Come move your paws for a cause!

Alston Park
Alston Park is an amazing place for some outdoor exploring with your doggo! The 153-acre nature preserve in the rolling hills of northwest Napa offers plenty of both off-leash and on-leash opportunities for poocherrific fun! The park includes a large fenced dog area with toys, benches, dog waste bags and receptacles, agility equipment, and running water. Outside of the dog park, there are large grassy areas for off-leash dogs under good voice control as well as three miles of trails to enjoy with your leashed pet! Come enjoy Alston Park's wildflower-covered meadows, meandering stream, madrone groves, and oak-dotted grasslands with absolutely stunning vistas of the Napa Valley!

Get outside and get your dog moving! Shurtleff Park offers an off-leash dog area with fenced spaces for both large and small dogs. The grassy expanse is full of shade trees and bench seating. You and your canine are welcome to venture outside of the official dog park area to explore the much larger fields and wooded paths.
