Nelba was the best sitter! I was nervous having my senior dog stay with a sitter overnight after a recent house move, but by the time I drove away I had already received a photo of him cuddling with her! Nelba sent very frequent updates and made sure my picky eater was fees adequately. She took him on many adventures which I so appreciate since he doesn t like being left at home alone. Would 100% recommend Nelba to anyone that is nervous about leaving their baby with a sitter- she is the best!

Whitnall Off-Leash Dog Park
It can be hard to find a large, grassy, and safe area to let your dog roam freely in such a big city! The Whitnall Off-Leash Dog Park is the perfect place for pups to let loose and have a good time. We all know our dogs are the happiest when they get to run and play. For those social pups, this dog park is the place to be! Dogs can run freely for three acres without their owners having to worry. There's even plenty of street parking for easy access to this dreamy pooch getaway.36
Walk with the Mayor!
A drive from North Hollywood to Beverly Hills is in order! Chat with the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Lili Bosse, every Monday morning from 8:30 am until 10:30 am. Bring your dog on a leash and talk with Lili Bosse about your ideas, inspirations, and love of dogs. This family-friendly event is open to the public and is completely free. Free two-hour parking is even provided! There's no reason not to bring your pup on this stroll with the Mayor. The group walks a short distance to notable places in the city.After the walk, take your dog for a day out in Beverly Hills. The two of you can enjoy lunch at any assortment of dog-friendly restaurants, including Bar Bouchon, Lazy Daisy, or Walter's Cafe.

Canines and Cocktails
There's a gastropub in North Hollywood you just have to check out called The Fat Dog. Each July, this super pawesome spot throws a "Yappy Hour" full of fun, drinks and furry pals! IVY members are invited to enjoy this exclusive pup party and meet other, like-minded pooch owners at this meet-and-mingle event.
Not an IVY member? No problem! You can still enjoy The Fat Dog's world-class hotdog and cocktail pairings with your doggo by your side. Patrons and their puppers are invited to sit out on the patio every day until 7:00 pm.

Dog Costume Contest
Every year, North Hollywood is home to a dog costume contest at Idle Hour on Vineland Avenue. The event is free, but in order to vote for your favorite outfit, you must buy a ballot. The proceeds from the ballots go to East Valley Animal Shelter, which is a great animal shelter that takes care of animals and places them in happy, healthy fur-ever homes. The winners will be awarded a package of doggie treats and a gift card for the pet owner. There are so many creative ways to dress up your pet! Whether you make a homemade costume or buy one, make sure you bring your decked out pup to this costume contest, as it's sure to be a blast!
NoHo Farmer's Market
The NoHo Farmers Market is a weekly market located at 5331 Bakman Ave. Local vendors bring their goods to this regular event, and you are invited to stroll through with your pup by your side while you pick up local vegetables, meats, and even art pieces. Check out what is going on in your community by connecting with the people who are contributing. Get inspired to take part, too! And bring your dog along for the adventure, so that she can make some new friends. There is so much great stuff offered at this farmer's market, and it's a poocherific way to grab unique and expressive pieces to add to your collection.
