Actors and Others for Animals is another non-profit that was started in 1971. Celebrities came together with other pet activists in order to help spread awareness about proper animal care. Their goal is to help pet owners spay and neuter their pets in order to prevent even more homelessness among animals. They help pet owners gain access to important medical care so that they can ensure their animals are spayed and neutered. Betty White brought awareness to the success of this organization when she personally became involved. After over 40 years, Actors and Others for Animals has created so much good in the community!
