A drive from North Hollywood to Beverly Hills is in order! Chat with the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Lili Bosse, every Monday morning from 8:30 am until 10:30 am. Every year, North Hollywood is home to a dog costume contest at Idle Hour on Vineland Avenue. The event is free, but in order to vote for your favorite outfit, you must buy a ballot. The proceeds from the ballots go to East Valley Animal Shelter, which is a great animal shelter that takes care of animals and places them in happy, healthy fur-ever homes. The winners will be awarded a package of doggie treats and a gift card for the pet owner. There are so many creative ways to dress up your pet!
