Bay Area Pet Fair
Most people think of the Bay Area Pet Fair as a grrr-eat event to attend if you’re looking to adopt an animal — which it is, with more than 70 shelters and rescue groups presenting a host of adorable adoptable pets! However, this huge festival is so much more than an adoption event, with a long list of things for you and your dog to see, do, and experience. There are exciting demonstrations and live shows, games for pooches of all shapes and sizes, delicious food and drink, and heaps of free samples for you and your pet. Leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome and there’s no fee to attend!

Want to treat yourself to a refreshing brew or three and raise essential funds to help homeless animals at the same time? Well, that’s what Pints For Paws is all about! Held at Berkeley Humane, this lip-lickingly good fundraiser benefits the group’s efforts to help animals in need. That’s reason enough to attend on its own, but throw in more than 80 craft beers from over 20 local breweries and this event quickly starts to look like a dream day out! Oh, and did we also mention that your dog is also welcome to attend and socialize by your side?

Halloween without your dog wouldn’t be any fun at all, so head along to Wag Hotels’ annual Howloween paw-ty for a furr-righteningly good time! Each October, Wag Hotels Oakland becomes a spooky, haunted hotel where dogs and their humans can enjoy a night of Halloween-themed games and activities.
