Pawsapalooza
Celebrate everything about the dogs in your life at the annual Pawsapalooza event in West Hollywood Park in West Hollywood, California, each May! This day of fun features great food and drinks, as well as a doggie costume contest that has numerous categories that your dog could take home first prize in. Live music will be played throughout the event.
You won’t want to miss out on the raffle drawing or the vendor booths, either! With 30 different vendors at the event, you can spend all day browsing great products that you know your dog needs (or really, really wants).
Pawsapalooza begins at 9:30 a.m. and doesn’t wrap up until 4 p.m., so you're sure to have a full day of fun!

Pups at the Park
America’s past-time meets man’s best friend with the annual Pups at the Park event. Spend an evening watching the LA Dodgers play with your dog by your side. Not only do you get to watch some baseball, but you will also get unlimited Dodger dogs, nachos, peanuts, popcorn, water, and Coke products for just $50 a person!
A special ticket is required for the event, as regular tickets to the game will still be sold. The tickets are only available online and they are $37 per dog. Dog tickets include a goody bag, pup activity center access, and participation in the dog parade.
Remember to bring proof of current vaccinations and a signed waiver.

Strut Your Mutt
Join Forte Animal Rescue and Best Friends Animal Society at the annual Strut Your Mutt event each October. The event allows people to raise money for the dog-related charity of their choice, and Forte Animal Rescue asks that you help them raise money for the animals they care for each year!
The charity walk begins at 3 p.m., but don’t forget to stick around for the rest of the festival, which includes doggie yoga, music, contests, photos with your pet, and much more. The festival lasts until 6 p.m., which gives you plenty of time to enjoy all the activities being held.
Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. the afternoon of the walk and costs $15 for adults and $10 for children between six and 12. Younger children are free.

Marina Spooktacular
The annual Marina Spooktacular event takes place at the end of each October over a Saturday and Sunday. The family-fun event not only has dozens of activities for both adults and children, but it is also the host of a doggy costume contest on the Sunday evening of the event at 4 p.m.
The rest of the event is mostly doggy-friendly, but haunted parts of the event may be too scary for your pooch, just like they are for children.
Join other locals at the Burton Chace Park in Marina Del Rey for live music, food, dancing, and other great activities during the Marina Spooktacular!
Howliday Fundraiser
Have a howling good time at Forte Animal Rescue’s annual Howliday Fundraiser each December! Hosted by Yorkshire Square Brewery, join other dog lovers and their furry friends for great food and beer, while raising money for Forte Animal Rescue.
Test your knowledge in the trivia contest while wearing your ugliest sweater for a chance to win the Ugly Sweater contest. Don’t miss out on Yorkshire Square’s most popular dishes while you're there!
Forte Animal Rescue will have adoptable dogs on-site in hopes of finding them forever homes, so be sure to visit with all the great pooches that show up with the rescue.
Yorkshire Square Brewery will donate 20% of sales to Forte, so eat and drink up.
