Hello! My name is Mimi and I am a big time animal lover. I have had dogs my whole life. I grew up with an Aussie a big chow mix and a border collie. I have had two pitbuls as well. My fur babies now are a big shepherd puppy and a little Aussie mix. I suppose it’s safe to say that I have quite a bit of experience with different pups and their personalities. I know how much your pet means to you. Mine are literally my children so you can expect me to treat them with the same patience, love, and kindness I show my own pups. I also have experience using Wag walkers for my own dogs so I know how much a quality walker means.I am a patient, fit, 23 year old. Hanging out with animals of all kinds brings a smile to my face that Usually does not fade for the rest of the day.I love walking and jogging. I love forward to meeting your pup soon!I

Redding, California is a welcoming hub for people and pups alike. The city uses its many resources to make sure that dogs and their owners can experience the best parts of the city. It’s no surprise that people and their four-legged comrades come from around the country to take part in the many activities that Redding has to offer.
Not to mention, the city is busy at work within their local shelters to help all kinds of hounds find their forever homes. In operation since 1952, Haven Humane Society has made it their mission to end animal homelessness and abuse. Their adoption process ensures that all animals get the very best home possible and they tirelessly host a variety of events to raise money and awareness. In previous years they have been able to expand their efforts to include a spay and neuter clinic and the Morgan Adoption Center. You never know, your next fur baby may be hanging out in one of the 72 dog kennels in the center!
Tails of Rescue is a transport service that helps a variety of animals get out of unfortunate circumstances. They go where other groups can’t. They are dedicated to helping the sick, abused, and damaged pups find the love and care that they need to become the perfect pet. They also take in dogs from kill shelters that have run out of time. Young, old, healthy, or sick—there isn’t a pooch too broken for this group to help.
Groups like this are the reason that Redding is an absolutely wag-tastic place for you and your furry friend! It’s a culture of caring that you and your pup are sure to love!

Looking for the perfect place to stretch your pup's legs? You've got to check out the convenient Blue Gravel Mine Trail. It's an open area that many dog-lovers go to let their furry friend run and sniff about without any concern. The 1.75-mile asphalt trail is the perfect little getaway for you and your beloved pooch.
Bring out the wine connoisseur in your dog at the Mosley Family Cellars! This totally dog-friendly location is the perfect way to enjoy some wine while your best pal lounges on the cool floor of the tasting room or takes a stroll in the yard. There are dog treats for sale, but rest-assured - every four-legged guest gets a free, homemade dog treat that they can enjoy with Xara, the resident winery pup!
Looking for something to do outside of the city? Head over to nearby Grass Valley to give your dog the chance to find their inner wild dog (in a safely fenced 1.7-acre area of course!). You'll love that your pup can sniff and roam until his heart is content. Have a shy dog? No problem! There's a smaller area for smaller/shy dogs so they can enjoy the freedom, too! It's sure to be a paw-mazing time!
