Hi i’m Jen! I am 23 years old and live in Redding,California. I do not own any pets of my own. I have A lifelong passion for animals and been caring for animals for 15+ years. I will treat your furbabies as if they are my own. I enjoy volunteering my time with local dog rescues, as well as spending time with my family. In my free time I enjoy long runs along the Sacramento River or spending my days at Hotsprings! I’m very excited to be a part of WAG and I look forward to caring for your pets.

Greetings and Salutations! The name is Amenala, but most folks call me Nala (think Lion King). I've traveled a fair bit in my years, love adventure of any kind, am honest, empathetic and kind. Yeah, it's cheesy, but what can I say, I'm a unicorn and it's true! Your babies become my babies and I become aunty to all of them! I keep up your training or fall into a routine and set boundaries as needed. My approach has helped many a pupper.

Hi! I'm Devon. I love animals, and spending time outside. I can walk and board multiple animals at a time. I have experience with difficult pets, and am a great trainer. I can't wait to meet your fur babies!
I like to go out walking the trails around town and it’s always a good time when you have a furry friend around with you. I just moved to a new place and don’t have my dog with me anymore so being around dogs makes me happy.
My experience with dogs includes: working in dog boarding facilities, pet sitting both in my home and client homes, dog walking, running an animal rescue as a founder and being a dog owner myself! I have had the joy of working with so many different breeds, sizes, temperaments/personalities.

Having grown up on a farm, dogs have always been the greatest companion. Currently I travel the world for a living as a flight attendant and safety and care is my number one core value. Taking care of your pets would bring me so much joy while I am home and I would be honored to treat them to a safe and fun walk!
Hi! My name is Michelle! My love for animals started at a very young age. Your pet would be treated as if he/she would be my own. My parents had a Boxer and Labrador when I lived with them. I’ve volunteered at a shelter for a while when I was younger. I have a sweet, 8 year old Bengal.
Hi! My name is Reyna. I’m in love with dogs! They’ve always been my favorite animal ever since I was a kid. Around 9 years ago, I started pet-sitting and walking my family’s and friends dogs. I do it any chance I get now. I am married and get to be a “stay-at-home dog mom” to my 2 beautiful babies Charlie and Nala. I look forward to meeting yours!

Redding, California is a welcoming hub for people and pups alike. The city uses its many resources to make sure that dogs and their owners can experience the best parts of the city. It’s no surprise that people and their four-legged comrades come from around the country to take part in the many activities that Redding has to offer.
Not to mention, the city is busy at work within their local shelters to help all kinds of hounds find their forever homes. In operation since 1952, Haven Humane Society has made it their mission to end animal homelessness and abuse. Their adoption process ensures that all animals get the very best home possible and they tirelessly host a variety of events to raise money and awareness. In previous years they have been able to expand their efforts to include a spay and neuter clinic and the Morgan Adoption Center. You never know, your next fur baby may be hanging out in one of the 72 dog kennels in the center!
Tails of Rescue is a transport service that helps a variety of animals get out of unfortunate circumstances. They go where other groups can’t. They are dedicated to helping the sick, abused, and damaged pups find the love and care that they need to become the perfect pet. They also take in dogs from kill shelters that have run out of time. Young, old, healthy, or sick—there isn’t a pooch too broken for this group to help.
Groups like this are the reason that Redding is an absolutely wag-tastic place for you and your furry friend! It’s a culture of caring that you and your pup are sure to love!
Bring your pup to Sun Dial Bridge at Turtle Bay Exploration Park during March to walk/run the trail for a good cause! Looking for the perfect place to stretch your pup's legs? You've got to check out the convenient Blue Gravel Mine Trail. It's an open area that many dog-lovers go to let their furry friend run and sniff about without any concern. The 1.75-mile asphalt trail is the perfect little getaway for you and your beloved pooch.
Bring out the wine connoisseur in your dog at the Mosley Family Cellars! This totally dog-friendly location is the perfect way to enjoy some wine while your best pal lounges on the cool floor of the tasting room or takes a stroll in the yard. There are dog treats for sale, but rest-assured - every four-legged guest gets a free, homemade dog treat that they can enjoy with Xara, the resident winery pup!
Looking for something to do outside of the city? Head over to nearby Grass Valley to give your dog the chance to find their inner wild dog (in a safely fenced 1.7-acre area of course!). You'll love that your pup can sniff and roam until his heart is content. Have a shy dog? No problem! There's a smaller area for smaller/shy dogs so they can enjoy the freedom, too! It's sure to be a paw-mazing time!
Mark your calendar for May! Bring your pooch to have a good time and compete in the WestMuttster dog show for some incredible prizes!
