My dog enjoyed his time at Waverly's house! She took him on more fun excursions in a week than he does in a month with me. She kept me updated with lots of pictures and messages about how he was doing, and I could tell she really cared. The first thing my dog did when he ran into her house was steal her dinner right off the table. I felt so bad, but she was very kind about it.

Randall was so great with Friday and communicative. He responds to messages quickly and also sends video updates. Friday had a great time and was even comfortable enough to be around another dog. (He s usually scared) It was great peace of mind knowing he was in good hands, highly recommend!

Harper had the best time boarding with Shannon! She had lots of one on one time and was definitely spoiled. Shannon didn t seem to mind Harper s quirks (aka humping) either!

Redwood City Kiwanis Farmers’ Market

This wonderful farmer's market in Redwood City is an outdoor market, which is perfect for having your pup come along with you on a gorgeous weekend morning! They have a great selection of local foods and fresh produce - you may even get lucky and spot a tent that has homemade dog treats! This market generally does not get overly crowded, so dogs who get overwhelmed by large crowds and lots of people may feel more safe and comfortable attending this seasonal market. Admission is free and the market is open from 8am-12pm on Saturdays.

Burlingame Pet Parade

Slightly outside of Redwood City, the annual Burlingame Pet Parade is a must-attend event for pooches and their people! The parade typically takes place at the end of September. Dress your dogs up to impress and march the parade path for about 30 minutes. It's great fun and exercise for both humans and dogs alike. A grand prize is available for the winner! Children can bring their stuffed animals as well, so they can have their own animals to "participate" in the event with.
