Toro County Park
This dog-friendly park, known as Toro County Park, is a fantastic park to bring your pooch to. Dogs must be on-leash to enter into this park. It offers a multitude of trails whether you want a short, small walk or a steep climb up the mountain. Once you are at the top you can breathe in the beautiful view over Salinas and Monterey. This park is also notorious for horseback riding, mountain biking and other wonderful outdoor activities. There are over 20 miles of trails within the 4756-acre block!

Natividad Creek Dog Park
The Natividad Creek Dog Park is home to some indigenous wildlife which you may encounter while on one of their many trails. The park offers beautiful scenery of the City of Salinas and provides a multitude of things to do in the area. It has a section for dogs both big and small, a brilliant playground for the kids, a wonderful skateboard playground and restrooms in the picnic areas. Your pet pooch will love mingling with the other dogs, and families can meet together while with their fur buddies, too!

In-N-Out Burger
The In-N-Out Burger restaurant serves delightfully tasty burgers of all kinds! Fit for the family, this eatery also acts as a great outing with your dog. Order a scrumptious burger for yourself and order your pet pooch a “Protein Style” burger, which is a special beef patty without the bun. Dogs just love this mix and it is guaranteed to make your pupper's tongue drool with delight!

Burrito King
This fun Mexican restaurant serves up a real delight! They have extensive flooring inside as well as a patio area outdoors. Dogs are most welcome to come and dine outside with their owners. On offer at the restaurant are tortillas, tacos, quesadillas and a special combo plate. You can order something for your dog as well as get a bowl of water for them to drink in the hotter months. People that have visited this restaurant recommend the burritos for a starter. A great deal and an authentic Mexican experience, what could be better?
Ike's Lair
You can take your doggo to this lovely sandwich shop! Buy your pooch a special beef sandwich while you tuck into a more indulgent sub. There are lots on offer, with a wide selection of subs to tempt everyone's tastes. Your dog must be either on a leash or tied up as table service is not on offer here. So when you go to order, make sure your pooch is being properly looked after. The Kryptonite sandwich is the largest and most delicious sandwich at this joint, stuffed with everything possible! So take up the dare if you can. At least your dog can finish off your plate, if you can't!
