“Worry not, I’m here to take your dog out on a walk”

Hi! To begin, my name is Ezequiel! I was born and raised in San Francisco. Since I was a kid, I’ve owned multiple pets. My first dog was a Chihuahua named Baby. Next, was a Border Collie mix named Sierra. After they passed, we rescued a Pitador mix named Nala, who’s currently seven years old. So it goes without saying, I’m a natural when it comes to dog walking. With an customer approval rating of 4.97, I promise your pup will be in good hands. I look forward to meeting your pooch!

I became an official dog owner at a young age when I was given a husky for my 13th birthday. Ever since, I have had many experiences caring for all kinds of dogs. The history of breeds I have cared for range from small dogs such as terriers and chihuahuas to large dogs including pit bulls and bulldogs. My volunteer experience includes working at the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation (LBWF). During my time at this animal shelter, I cleaned, walked, and fed many dogs who were rescued.

Dog Boarding in San Francisco

There’s no denying San Francisco is one of the hottest vacation destinations in the U.S. But even pet parents living the good life in SF need a getaway now and then. Although it’s unavoidable sometimes, no one likes leaving their fur-baby behind.

If you’re planning a trip out of town, don’t start searching for dog kennels near you just yet. Dog boarding and dog sitting in San Francisco are affordable alternatives that prioritize your peace of mind.

In-home overnight care provides a cozy environment to keep your pup calm while you’re away. Plus, with your permission, your preferred pet caregiver can even hit the trails with Tucker. An on-leash adventure on one of the Glen Canyon Park Trails is sure to put your pooch’s mind at ease. And because some boarders and sitters also provide dog walking services in San Francisco, you can rest assured that your pup will be in good paws on their excursion.

Searching for dog sitting or dog boarding services near you? Let’s take a look at the average cost of overnight care in SF.

Average Cost of Dog Boarding in San Francisco, CA

Some San Francisco dog boarding facilities treat their pup patrons like royalty. The swankiest hound hotels feature private rooms with classical music, complimentary dog toys, and even room service! Unsurprisingly, these deluxe suites don’t come cheap — expect to pay anywhere from $80 to $175 per night.

Basic dog kennels start at $55 per night. This option typically includes two short potty breaks, feeding, and medications. Kennels are a little cheaper than San Francisco’s pet resorts, but they might not be the coziest option for your canine.

Wag! dog boarding in San Francisco provides the perfect balance between comfort, convenience, and affordability. And with prices starting at $39 per night, even Spot will agree it’s a steal.

Average Cost of Dog Sitting in San Francisco, CA

If Lucky would feel more comfortable staying home, in-home pet sitting is the “pawfect” solution. San Francisco dog sitters typically charge between $50 and $85 per night.

Additional fees may apply depending on the dog’s age and the day of the week. Walks and travel fees also aren’t always included. This is just a small sample of things to look out for in the fine print before booking a service.

Aside from expensive rates and hidden fees, many local facilities don’t offer pick-up or drop-off services. If you require a sitter outside of operating hours, you may need to make special arrangements.

Dog sitting options in San Francisco aren’t always the most affordable or accessible. Pet parents searching for a sitter will also want to read the terms and conditions carefully for a full run-down of the fees.

Wag! dog sitting services start at just $39 per night so you can save some cash to spend while you're away. With no hidden fees or unpleasant surprises, booking a San Francisco dog sitter through Wag! is an affordable, hassle-free alternative.

Most caregivers are pet parents themselves, so they know the importance of reliable care. And finally, 95% of all boarding sessions end with a flawless 5-star review.
