Next, was a Border Collie mix named Sierra. After they passed, we rescued a Pitador mix named Nala, who’s currently seven years old. So it goes without saying, I’m a natural when it comes to dog walking. With an customer approval rating of 4.97, I promise your pup will be in good hands. I look forward to meeting your pooch!

“The best dog walker in town!”

I became an official dog owner at a young age when I was given a husky for my 13th birthday. Ever since, I have had many experiences caring for all kinds of dogs. The history of breeds I have cared for range from small dogs such as terriers and chihuahuas to large dogs including pit bulls and bulldogs. My volunteer experience includes working at the Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation (LBWF). During my time at this animal shelter, I cleaned, walked, and fed many dogs who were rescued.

I realized I loved dogs when my sister placed my dog, Maui on my lap nine years ago. I've met so many dogs and dog owners because of her and hope to meet and take care of many more. I've walked dogs for my neighbors and friends. I'm punctual, professional and understand from being a dog owner myself, the safety and well-being of your dog.

Dog Boarding in San Francisco

San Francisco doesn't mess around when it comes to pooches. Arguably the most dog-friendly city in the United States, pups truly are San Francisco's best friend. In fact, mutts even outnumber human children in this colorful city, which we're sure the pawrents of San Francisco make no bones about!

Doting on dogs isn't ruff in this city, with hundreds of luxury dog hotels, rooftop dog cocktail parties, and specialty dog restaurants. San Francisco has truly gone to the dogs! Of course, a city with such robust puppy-loving has the dog organizations, shelters, non-profits, and pup associations to keep the city's prized jewels safe.

Of them, Family Dog Rescue is one of the most popular. They rescue pups of all sizes, breeds, and personalities and then work hard to match them with the humans that fit them best. This organization is 100 percent donation based, but still managed to re-home over 800 dogs in 2017. They offer adoption services, shelter and fostering programs, and even dog-enrichment programs!

Enter the next well-known program, Wonder Dog Rescue. Beginning as a Boston Terrier rescue group, it's grown into a group that rescues all breeds! Though there's no physical shelter, the organization works hard to find foster homes for every pup in their care while they await adoption. They specialize in pups that are at risk due to medical issues and those beloved pups who need care and compassion near the end of their lives.

Another organization, Rocket Dog Rescue, is a bay-area dog organization that's run only by volunteers. They specialize in saving pups from death at over-crowded shelters and finding them happy, fur-ever homes. Because of this, they've saved the lives of over 8,100 pups!

World's Ugliest Dog Contest

Every year, the world gathers around (both on the internet and in San Francisco) to vote on the world's ugliest dogs - a badge these pups, and their owners, sport with pride! The contest, which is sponsored by VIP Petcare, encourages entries from homely hounds with faces only their pawrents could love. You and your pup can attend the annual contest that celebrates these pitiful puppers, watch them do a Faux Paw Fashion Show and a Red Carpet Walk. Maybe your pup can even enter the contest! Though the event sounds mean, it's really a celebration that all dogs are adoptable and adorable, despite any imperfection. Winners snag $1,500 and are flown to New York for media appearances! The event is hosted at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds every year. Take your pup to the event and be ready to fall in love with some mismatched ears, crossed eyes, and patchy furred pups.
