Canine Cocktails Holiday Doggie Mixer
Stop by Hotel Indigo in San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter in December for the Canine Cocktails Holiday Doggie Mixer with Fit Athletic Downtown! Bring your pooch for a leash-free good time at the Level 9 Rooftop Bar.
Enjoy great holiday drinks from 5:30 to 9 with great views of the city around you, while your dog roams with other four-legged friends. There will also be food to snack on while you chat it up with local dog owners.
Raffle tickets will be available, and proceeds go to the San Diego Humane Society.
Admission is free, but drinks and food are available only for purchase.

San Diego Pet Con
Head over to Del Mar Fairgrounds in February for the San Diego Pet Con Event. Dress your dog up in great costumes for a chance to win a contest! Winners of the costume contest will be determined by the audience, so bring along some friends as well.
The event will feature a talent competition, fun games, vendors, exhibits, and adoption stations. Local shelters and organizations will also be on-site hoping to get donations from generous attendees.
Admission is free for both humans and their pooches!

North County Walk for Animals
Join the San Diego Humane Society for its annual North County Walk for Animals event each February in Kit Carson Park. Help raise money by participating in the two-mile walk through Kit Carson Park with your doggo!
The event kicks off with a pancake breakfast and registration at 7 am on the day of the walk, followed by the Blessing of the Animals at 8:30. The walk is preceded by a 15-minute warm-up with Aaron Harris Fitness. The actual walk starts at 9 am, and it is followed by dog activities and the Vendor Village.
This event requires registration, so make sure you sign up ahead of time! Adults can register for $40, while children are just $20.

Fur Ball
You and your dog will enjoy getting dressed up for an evening out, all to benefit the San Diego Humane Society’s yearly Fur Ball event. Each September, well-dressed dogs and dog owners attend the gala to help raise money for the San Diego Humane Society.
Walk the red carpet and pose with your pooch for photos. Then, enjoy a night of fine dining, dancing, auctions, and more. This event is held at the Humane Society and is outdoors. All dogs must be leashed for their own safety.
Doors open at 6 pm and tickets start at $325. Dogs are welcome, but not required for attendance.
Doggie Street Festival
San Diego is home to an annual Doggie Street Festival that is sure to excite the whole family. Each November, dogs flock to NTC Park Liberty Station with their owners for a day of music, food, vendors, and other great activities.
Listen to guest speakers and special guests to learn more about pet ownership and the rescues at the event. Don’t forget to stop by vendor booths to discover unique products and services brought to you by local businesses. There will also be an art area for children!
A number of rescues will be on-site with dogs looking for new homes.
