Hi I'm Jacqueline! I grew up in an animal loving home with many different dogs growing up. To name a few we had Spot, a German shorthair pointer, Bishop a basset hound Boston terrier mix, and Dopey a Basset Hound. In addition to my experience with my own dogs, I have also dog sat and walked neighbors dogs, and family and friends dogs as well! I have experience with dogs of all sizes and ages! I love meeting new dogs and they always click with me right away, because I am welcoming and patient. I treat every dog as my own, and shower them with lots of love and attention. I will be sure to make your Wag! Experience as favorable as possible!

Hello, my name is Brittany. Pets have always played a huge role in my life and I find cultivating special bonds with animals to be so important. Growing up, we had a variety of animals in our house, including cats, dogs, fish, birds, and a hamster! I've had two Yorkie Terriers, a Great Pyrenees, Boxer, and a Pug; I love them all, big or small. I enjoy being outside, especially for long walks or runs. Thank you for this opportunity, and I can't wait to meet your special friend!

Hi! My name is Emily, I grew up on the Central Coast and have lived in Fullerton the last four years for school. Growing up in a rural area I've had experience helping first hand with rescues at the Santa Maria Animal Shelter, and also worked for a shearing company where I cared for every type of farm animal from alpacas to ostriches. My home was and still his an open door for animals in need. Dogs were and still are a huge part of my life. Running my own pet sitting business, I have experience working with dogs like a Bernese Mountain Dog with separation anxiety to geriatric Bulldogs who required specific medical attention. Besides being professional and attentive, I'm very excited to be with your fury friend for the best part of their day (besides feeding time, of course).

Dog Boarding in Santa Maria

We're sure you've heard of Santa Maria before, if not for their world-famous bbq, then for their copious amounts of vineyards and wineries, but did you know that Santa Maria is gradually growing famous for something else? Their dog-friendliness! As is the case with most California cities, doggos are quite welcome in everyday activities, and, like other Cali cities, much of this attitude can be credited to the shelters in the area.

One of the biggest shelters, the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society, is a self-described vibrant and exciting organization that exists to rescue, shelter, heal, and protect dogs in the Central California Coastal Community. Since their inception in 1984, they've placed over 12,900 animals into loving homes!

Similarly, the Santa Barbara Humane Society, which services the Santa Maria area as well, has a huge impact on the community. Dedicated to the welfare of animals, this shelter strives to find a safe haven for homeless pups until they're able to find new homes.
