Four Legged Affair
This is one of the biggest events of the year for the Santa Maria Valley Humane Society, and you and your pooch are invited! Not only will you be contributing to a worthy cause (we know you care about the homeless pups in your area) you'll also be enjoying a fun, fancy night out with your four-legged, and two legged friends. You'll be provided with specialty cocktails, appetizers, beer, wine, silent auctions, entertainment, and of course, a photo booth for you and your pup!36

If you and your pup are looking for some big-time fun and don't mind jumping in the car for a bit of a commute, check out the annual Wags N Whiskers Festival from the CARE4Paws organization in Santa Barbara. This adoption event features pet competitions, tons of pet vendors, creative pup hairstyles, and performances by various celebrity animals. You won't want to miss it!24

Woof Pac Park goes above and beyond your ordinary dog park! This fenced, shaded area is the perfect spot for your pooch to play around and meet up with other pups! A giant, three acres of fenced-in area provides your pup the freedom to roam around off-leash while you stand by and enjoy. With plenty of water stations, shaded areas, and room to run, you and your pup won't want to miss out on this park!12
Santa Maria Valley Railroad Trailhead
Come along, adventure pups, it's time to take a walk! You and your pup can explore this entertaining, amazing trail together. This lengthy, railroad trail has been entirely mapped out and is perfectly dog-friendly. You'll be provided with a mile of entertainment. Remember though, it's required to keep your pup on a leash, and don't forget to clean up after him!
Trails N Tails
Hosted by the Santa Barbara Humane Society, the annual Trails N' Tails event is back! Pick up your pup and join the fun at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden for a beautiful walk in the sunshine. You and your pup will be able to be a part of a doggie costume parade or a k9 demonstration. Plus, you can see lots of local vendors, and even get your pups picture taken!
