We took a last minute trip, and now with a puppy it is difficult to plan. Luckily I discovered Wag and booked Amanda who did an awesome job and let us get away for the weekend with peace of mind.

Amanda was simply amazing and that s probably an understatement. When boarding I think the pet matters most but having peace of mind for pet parents is probably on top of the list too. After meeting Amanda all our doubts and any reservations we had were put at ease. She did a wonderful job with our boy Bo. I literally was worried he would not want to come home. She sent us updates throughout the stay with pictures and we could see the excitement on Bo s face. She responded almost immediately to any of my messages and was just a blessing for us for this last minute trip. We without a doubt will use her and probably only her again for our pets boarding needs or even just day care in general after having met her and gone through this process. Thanks Amanda!

I am so thankful to Amanda to making my first time dog boarding a total success. I was able to enjoy my vacation carefree knowing my fur baby was in good hands. She is quick to respond to any message, and I was always looking forward to her updates and pictures. I could tell my dog was comfortable and well cared for by seeing her playing, napping under blankets, and her tail wagging just like at home. When I came to pick her up Amanda filled me in on all the little details about her stay, I was happy to hear that her son had made a connection with my Mija and wasn't ready for her to leave. I look forward to my next outing knowing I can trust Amanda with my baby.

Bark In The Park

Tails will be wagging next Spring when local dogs are invited to the Rawhide stadium to watch the game! This doggie-positive event is held in April, with plenty of dog’s woofing the home team on. Some pooches look really cool in baseball caps supporting their local team! Their pet parents only have to pay $3 for a pooch pass to get them into the ballpark. Seating is assigned up to the right of the field on the grass where dogs can howl every time their team hits a home run! All proceeds from the pooch passes go to “Love of Animals”, a local non-profit animal fostering program. Check out their Facebook page for more details!

The Planing Mill Artisan Pizzeria

Looking for a local restaurant that welcomes dogs? Try the Planing Mill Artisan Pizzeria voted small business of the year for 2017. Well behaved, leashed dogs can hang out on the patio enjoying the lively vibe! Great food and beer make this a popular spot for the locals - who love bringing their 4-legged friends to sample the wings, pizza or the Reuben sandwich. Pack a doggie bag before you leave to go home so you can both have fun munching on your favorite treats later! The restaurant has its origins in the former Planning Mill, a 19th century landmark in a city steeped in history. If you’ve been walking your pal at one of the dog-friendly parks, head down to the “The Planing Mill” for a cool drink and bite to eat. Restaurant hours are 11 am to 9 pm.
