They believe that in order to solve the issue of abandoned and unwanted animals, getting involved with the community is key to success. That's why OC Animal Care is committed to community outreach. They make community animal education a priority and have partnerships with non-profit animal rescues to save as many animal lives as possible. Working together is what will solve this issues and OCAR tries to do just that. They also offer special days every month where the residences of OC can come in and get the animals chipped and vaccinated for a low cost.
Another wonderful adoption and rescue shelter is located just outside Yorba Linda. Pardon...Me Small Dog & Cat Rescue is a non-profit and all-volunteer based center. This rescue center takes unwanted dogs and cats from local kill shelters and fosters them with loving families until they find their forever homes. This is a unique rescue center because they only have small dogs up for adoption for families and individuals who need or want tiny canines.
