This is an event that is put on by the Teller County Rescue Animal Shelter. The proceeds from this event go to help the pets of owners who are terminally ill. They will also go to help the dogs at the rescue shelter who need food, water, and medical attention. This event is made for your pooch and the whole family! There will be a ton of dog-friendly activities, music, local food vendors, microchipping, a beer garden, and more. Mark it in your calendar for some summer fun!36

If you are looking to enjoy some delicious drinks with your favorite fur buddy right by your side, take them to Yappy Hour at the Woodland Country Lodge Pub & Patio Bar with you! You will have a breathtaking view of Pikes Peak. Admission to the event is $10 and food and drink must be purchased through a special menu they will have for the night. Christmas Party for The Misfits!
Every December, the Misfit Dog Rescue hosts a special Christmas party for dogs, their owners and their families. It is held at the Colorado Spring Bike Shop. There are always tons of goodies, silent auction gift baskets, adorable dog apparel, and much more! Your pup can take a picture with Santa Clause, as he is always in attendance! The picture setup is with Santa on a holiday bike - which makes for a perfect Christmas card! Come out and get into the holiday spirit with this festive, Christmas doggie-event.

National Dog Day at ZFG!
This is a doggy celebration with Zero Fox Given. You can bring your adorable and well-behaved pup on a leash with you so they can enjoy the fun as well! There will be heaps of delicious dog treats available for your fur baby, so you know they are going to leave happy and with a full belly. There will be tons of goodies for sale, baked items to devour, and you can make your very own "custom dog HOME, LOVE, or COLORADO FLAG paw print" piece of art to hang up in your home! It's going to be a fantastic time! Event details are still being worked out, but it is generally held in Colorado Springs at Zero Fox Given.

Woodland Park Farmers Market
Although this is not a dog-centered event, this is a dog-friendly farmer's market that all leashed and non-aggressive dogs are more than welcome to attend! It is a wonderful way to spend a weekend morning in the warm summer months with your favorite furry friend. The market is held in Memorial Park. Teller Country Rescue Animal Shelter has a booth at the farmers market as well, with some of their adorable adoptable animals on-site. They also have merchandise for sale that helps support their animals at the shelter or you can just choose to provide a donation!
