The Larimer Humane Society is one non-profit doing big things for dogs of all sizes. The big-hearted volunteers work to ensure that all of their animals are treated with respect and compassion from the moment they are admitted to the shelter. Animal House Rescue and Grooming, located in Fort Collins, is another organization rescuing dogs throughout the community. No matter age or size, all dogs are welcome at the non-profit that never wavers in its love for animals. By providing educational opportunities through community outreach, Animal House is working to help dog-lovers grow as even better dog-owners. This rescue center works with other shelters in the area that may be overcrowded to ensure that all animals receive the highest level of care and love.

Whether you want to beat your personal record or just take a leisurely walk, this event is a pawesome way to get out and stretch your legs. Stick around after the 5k for live music, delicious breakfast, and even some free long-sleeve t-shirts! The event takes place at New Belgium Brewing in Fort Collins, and the bar will be offering free beers and other drinks after the race. There will be easy access for cheering if you're the type who would rather enthusiastically encourage from the sidelines.

    Fairgrounds Dog Park is sure to be a regular destination for you and your pup for a fun day out.
