I've owned and cared for many types of animals including: dogs, horses, cats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, goats, turtles and even a hedgehog. Although I've loved all my pets, dogs have always been special. I cherish dogs because their love and loyalty is so strong, but their personalities are as unique as any human's. I've been a proud dog owner all of my life. Taking my dog for a walk is one of the highlights of my day because I know it's the highlight of his! As a dog owner, I recognize how precious dogs are, so whenever I care for someone else's dog, I always treat them as I would want my dog to be treated if I were away.

Serving cats and dogs across Connecticut since 1965, this non-profit organization is dedicated to nursing dogs back to health and loving them unconditionally until they find their forever homes and beyond. The Animal Welfare Society provides all of the medical care, training, and attention each individual pet may need. When pet owners need support after they have adopted a dog, the volunteers are happy to help.

Because 4 Paws is one organization doing big things for dogs of all sizes throughout Connecticut.
