The Stratford Animal Rescue Society is a non-profit devoted to nursing animals back to health and finding them loving homes. Dogs come in feeling scared and confused. Once they are in the loving arms of the volunteers, they get happier with each day until they are placed in their true, fur-ever homes. This rescue society even provides education for dog owners so that they can learn more about how to ensure that they have happy lives with their dogs.
The SPCA of Connecticut, located in Monroe, is an organization made up of extremely qualified and dedicated volunteers. The non-profit aims to nurse animals back to health, find them forever homes, and help educate dog-owners on proper puppy care. Each animal at this SPCA is individually cared for. When pets are re-homed, the non-profit ensures they are going to the home that is right for both the dog and the human.
