Dog boarding in Winsted

My name is Renee and I love dogs! I currently am the owner of two dogs,one is an English bulldog named Sally and the other is a German Shepherd named Lee Loo. I have been dog sitting since I was 8 years old. I have several years experience with animals and caring for them. I joined this service because I would like to meet new dogs and take them for an amazing walk.

I recently left Manufacturing where I spent the past 30 years as a manager/supervisor. I felt it was time to move on from Manufacturing to do something that would be more fulfilling for myself and to work with animals. I recently rescued a puppy from Puerto Rico and she is currently how I spend all of my day. Taking her and my relatives dogs to a local State Forest for walks and hikes. I have been blessed with great dogs over the past 20+ years.

I was raised with three dogs so I have lots of experience, but I haven't been able to have one of my own since starting school. I grew up with dogs on our horse farm & pet sat through college. I was a vet tech, dog groomer & kennel manager for 8 years at a vet before starting my own business so I can do various medical treatments, meds, etc. I have 2 large dogs- Griffey a humane society pup and JJ a shep husky rescue from Texas.. If you are going away for a weekend/vacation, my daughter, son and I all do house/pet sitting in your home. Keep your dog in the comfort of it's own home/schedule & not the stresses of a kennel.

I have had dogs my entire life; I currently have 2 chocolate labs. I have been dog sitting for about 15 years. My experience includes being a member of Kids for Paws and a volunteer at the SPCA. I am currently a weekend puppy raiser for America’s VetDogs, which raises service dogs for veterans and first responders. I am great with everyone from high-energy puppies that love to play to older dogs who just love to snuggle. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends!

I currently have three German Shepherds so I am able to handle large and hyperactive dogs. I have always loved animals and hope to one days be able to have a career with animals so being introduced to new dogs and seeing how they act would be very fun for me.
