Doggie Beaches
Pooches and paw-rents, be ready; Ft. Myers is the ultimate spot for doggie beaches! The Ft. Myers beaches almost all welcome pups, a rarity in many beachside towns. You can pretty much bring Fido anywhere on any beach, excluding the county and state parks, and private beaches. However, any public beach on Estero Island and Lover's Key Dog Park Beach are up for grabs! Just remember, if you and your pup want to romp in the sand, swim in the saltwater, and bond in the sun, keep him on a leash and pick up after him!36
Puppy Parks
Puppy parks abound in Ft. Myers, and most of them are flooded with locals and their pooches who've made the puppy parks their hot-spots. One of the most popular parks in Ft. Myers is the Pooch Dog Park at Judd Park. This fenced in, separated-by-size, shaded park is a huge space with plenty of other pooches you and your pup can socialize with! Another popular park, the Bonita Springs Dog Park is a six-and-a-half acre park that has plenty of room for both your small pup and your large pup with plenty of water fountains and space to play!24
Coconut Point

Myers knows how you and your pooch feel, so they've implemented plenty of pet-friendly areas to take your fancy fluff shopping. One of the most popular establishments? Coconut Point. This outdoor mall hosts a variety of shops and restaurants. Just make sure to keep your pup leashed and polite!12
