Dog Boarding in Lutz
The small, but quaint suburban town of Lutz is just north of metropolitan Tampa, and though it's quiet and family friendly, it still maintains its doggo friendly atmosphere. Some of the shelters in the area that keep the community pup-happy are the Humane Society of Tampa and the SPCA of Tampa Bay.
SPCA Tampa Bay is a popular organization and one of the only non-profit, open-admission animal shelters in the Hillsborough and Pinellas County areas. Not only do they take care of pawesome pups, they also help look after exotic animals, livestock, pocket pets, and injured wildlife, too! It's one of the only available shelters in the area with no time limit for an animal's stay. This organization cares for about 8,000 animals annually.
One of the largest and most well known shelters that cover the area is the Humane Society of Tampa Bay. This non-profit, no-kill shelter has been helping pups and other animals for over 100 years. They shelter animals, help foster them out, find them forever homes, and have even built animal hospitals to keep their pups safe and healthy.
