Dog Days of Summer
Splish, splash! It's the Dog Days of Summer annual event, and it's back for you and your pup to enjoy! The event, hosted by EGAD.Mainstreet in Melbourne offers you and your four-legged friend the perfect way to beat the Florida heat, meet a bunch of local pups and their owners, and pawticpate in a few fun pup-activities. Traditionally, it's hosted during the August First Friday events in downtown Melbourne. You and your pup can be featured in dog contests, win blue ribbons, and enjoy food, beer, and a designer water bar for your pup!36
The Doggy Run
The annual Doggy Run is back and better than ever! Hosted in Melbourne, this Doggy Run is a 5k run or a 1-mile loop trail for you and your pup to pound the pavement on! Registration prices begin at $20, but will increase as you get closer to the run! All participants are expected to arrive at the race with a bag of dog food, as well. This event lets you run with your doggo while gathering food for pups in need and is the perfect way to spend quality time with your pet!Don't miss out on the chance to jog through Wickham Park with your pup, raise funds for a worthy cause, and get a good bonding session with your doggo in during the whole experience.

All doggos who visit the Canova Doga beach must be on a leash and wearing their tags to show they are licensed and that they have the proper vaccinations! Get your tuxes out and your tails all fluffed, the fanciest gala in Melbourne is back! This is the most highly-anticipated event hosted by the Brevard Humane Society and is sure to offer you and your pup a tail-waggin' good time. Enjoy a philanthropic event that you can attend with your pooch, complete with delicious food, a catnip carpet, live performances, a silent auction, and festive dance music.
