Miami may be one of the most popular vacation spots in the United States, but it’s also a great place to live — especially if you love dogs! The Magic City is full of magical experiences, attractions, and activities for canines and their humans, while it’s also home to a dedicated community of animal lovers who volunteer their time to save pets in need.
Paws 4 You Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer animal rescue organization based in Miami. Its mission is to save as many as possible of the more than 27,000 unwanted pets that end up at Miami-Dade Animal Services each year.
From sick and injured animals to those that are abandoned, homeless, or simply lost, the Paws 4 You team gives unloved dogs the best-quality medical care, lots of love, and a much-needed serve of hope. Through its adoption program, these adorable canines can find a brighter, happier future.
Miami Animal Rescue is another of the city’s inspirational animal welfare groups. A 100% no-kill rescue, this non-profit rescues dogs from euthanasia and abandonment, before working tirelessly to find each animal a loving forever home. Miami Animal Rescue relies solely on donations and the passion of its network of foster carers to save lives and get tails wagging once again.
