Hey there! My name is Hailey and I recently moved to Seattle from a small town in Florida called NSB. My passion is to work with dogs so I'm super grateful I get this opportunity to do so with wag and explore seattle in the process. There's never been a time in my life where I wasn't surrounded by dogs, whether it be the family dogs I grew up with or the dogs I use to walk for the people in my small town back in NSB. I live with my best friend, a chihuahua/australian shepherd mix named Elektra and I've had her ever since she was able to leave the litter of puppies, she is now 1yr. I raised and trained two boxer/rottweiler mix puppies for my older sister (she worked a lot) when I was just 13 years old. I also have 3 years of experience volunteering in animal shelters starting at the age of 15 working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes anywhere from a chihuahua to a great Dane or St.Bernard. I have familiarity with elderly doggies, dogs with allergies, and dogs with mental/physical disorders. I plan on becoming a certified trainer in the near future to carry out my passion for working with dogs. You can always expect your family member to have a fun and very safe walk with me! I can't wait to meet you and your best friend!:)

I am working towards my Cyber security Degree. I have a passion for helping others doing things such as helping people by spreading awareness of Mental Health, tutoring high school student on Mathematics, and supporting my community. I love animals and I'd love to take care of yours. If I could I would stay with animals and take care of them all day long. If I get the privilege to take care of yours it would bring me great joy because I wouldn't consider it as a job.

Dog Boarding in Ormond Beach

Ormond Beach is a gateway city to one of the most famous beach cities in Florida, Daytona Beach! But more than that, it's a dog-friendly, pawrent paradise. With plenty to do outside for you and your pooch, it's a pup's dream city. A large number of shelter activities in the area doesn't hurt the dog-friendly vibes, either.

One of the most pawpular shelters in the area is the Halifax Humane Society, a large 501(c)3 organization. Founded in 1937, it maintains an open-door policy for animals of all kinds. As a large facility they are able to hold about 350 animals at a time, and on any given day, they're likely full to the brim! Every year, they service over 25,000 animals. With a message of compassion and education, they work to find fur-ever homes for all animals that pass through their doors and aim to educate the community on responsible pet ownership.

Another shelter that's located in a nearby city also services the Ormond Beach area is the Rescued Hearts Animal Shelter, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization that rescues animals from high-kill shelters in Central Florida, fosters them, and helps them find their forever homes.

Either of these facilities make for a great place to find your next fur-buddy, or to dontate your time or funds to!

Pup Parks

What good would a city be without a reliable, pawesome, pup park? Luckily, Ormond Beach has a few prime locations within the city limits, and others just a few miles away. One of the most popular parks in the area is the Michael Crotty Bicentennial Park. This fully-equipped park has large trees with plenty of shade, four acres for your pup to run free, and watering stations, too! A few minutes down the road in Deland, you can find the Barkley Square Dog Park, a 14-acre, fenced-in park with tons of trees, a small pond, and lots of dog watering stations.
