Louise is the luckiest doggie, ever!!! While staying with Heather, her darling hubby, and their fluffy big dog, Teddy, she had the time of her life and was introduced to brand new experiences Gallery Night swimming at the beach doggie parks. Oh my goodness, I want to be a dog and go to Heather s for my vacay, a dream come true. Honestly, for anyone who wants their best furry friend to have a fun filled time while you are away, Heather should be your go-to person. And don t think that in all the frolic that Heather ignores any meds or other requests and she is so tuned into a dog s personality, desiring to provide safety and a sense of security. Louise is already missing Heather, a wee bit of a sad sack and looking forward to her next visit.

Oh my goodness gracious, my dog Louise had an absolute blast and obviously loved every minute. This was made clear in the frequent photos sent by Heather while at their beautiful home, on walks and at the Doggie Park. If there were 10 stars, I would certainly give them, while wishing there were 20. Heather and her wonderful hubbie, not to mention their darling doggie Teddy, are exactly what one would wish for in a home away from home for a 4 legged family member, (frequently referred to as a dog). This is a place where dogs are loved and I have already reserved another stay. Louise can t wait!

Bayview Dog Park & Beach
The Bayview Dog Park & Beach is the perfect location for a dog park, and it's a great spot to bring your favorite four-legged friend. Head on down to this dog park with your pooch and enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature and friendly people who attend the park. There is plenty of shade, with picnic tables and some great spots to sit back and enjoy the fun. There is even an area of the beach where your dogs can run freely and swim! Have no fear of that sand, there are washing stations where you can wash your dog after a nice swim.36
Paws on Palafox
In order to raise money and encourage adoption, the Pensacola Humane Society puts on a fun walk event for all to enjoy. Bring your pooch to a 3k walk through Pensacola's historic downtown! April is the perfect time of year to enjoy a nice stroll with your dog while supporting other pooches in your community and connecting with fellow dog-lovers. The Pensacola Humane Society is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs in the surrounding area. Not only does this organization care for and re-home pets, they also help to get dogs the proper medical attention they need.24
Barktoberfest
Join in the joyful fun at Barktoberfest in October at Community Maritime Park in Pensacola. This is one of the largest dog events in Pensacola, and each year it wows the crowd and guarantees a good time for you and your dog! Barktoberfest is one of the largest dog-themed events and is where the Pensacola Humane Society gets many of its donations for the care they provide their animals. This giant, family and pet-friendly event boasts a number of exciting events for both you and your pup, including an agility contest. Peruse the local stations where vendors will be giving samples and goody-bags full of the products they offer. This is a can't-miss event, and is sure to be a doggone great time!12

Head down to Pensacola's experts in the craft of beer with your dog for their annual Dog Fashion & Talent Show! Enjoy a great atmosphere and lots of fun, all dedicated to a good cause. Ten percent of the proceeds from every Sea Dog beer purchased will benefit Southbark Animal Rescue. Is your dog particularly fashionable? Does your sweet pup have a special talent or cool trick? There are a number of categories available for prizes, including best dressed, owner and pet look-alike contest, the best trick, and the loudest bark. This fantastic and sociable event taking place in downtown Pensacola is sure to be a wag-tastic way to spend a laid-back and fun afternoon for both you and your pup!

On Bayou Boulevard there is a great tex-mex restaurant called Tijuana Flats. Enjoy authentic and delicious cuisine while you sit outside in a beautiful environment with your dog. The restaurant boasts a wide variety of sauces - from mild to extra spicy - at their hot sauce bar. If you love tacos, head down to Tijuana Flats for Taco Tuesday which includes two tacos, chips, and a drink for just $5.
