Fur Ball
Get out your tuxes and polish those noses, the annual Fur Ball is back! This event, in its 14th year, is a chic, pet-welcome gala that's hosted by the Humane Society of St. Lucie to benefit their shelter. You and your pooch can dress to the nines in your pawsitively best version of Hawaiian casual, the theme for the night. This is the largest fundraiser the shelter puts on and will include pre-dinner cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, casino-style gambling, and both a live and silent auction. The best part? You and your pup can go together, enjoy the festivities, and meet other pooches as well! Join the rest of the St. Lucie canines in a night you'll always remember, and help support the pets in your community while you're at it!Paws in the Park
The annual Paws in the Park event is an to-do that's close to the city's heart, so having it right before Valentine's Day would only make sense. Hosted by the St. Lucie Humane Society, you and your canine companion can join hundreds of other pups and pawrents for a fundraising walk through the park, with all funds going toward pets in the community. Not only will there be a fundraising pup-walk, but also a k9 demonstration, an adoption RV with tons of pooches, food, contests, and more!You and your pup won't want to miss this annual event in the park.
