This event, in its 14th year, is a chic, pet-welcome gala that's hosted by the Humane Society of St. Lucie to benefit their shelter. This is the largest fundraiser the shelter puts on and will include pre-dinner cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, casino-style gambling, and both a live and silent auction. The best part? Though technically in Jensen, this beach is worth the extra head-out-the-window-time in the car because it's a beach just for puppers! It's one of the only off-leash doggie beaches in the area, and it attracts hundreds of visitors every day! If you and your pup can't get enough of being part of the action, drive a few minutes over to the neighboring city of Fort Pierce for its annual Sandi Paws Pet & People Walk-a-thon Pet Parade (that's quite the mouthful!)
