“Does your pup need to get rid of some energy?”
Hello, my name is Adriana. Are you looking for an active dog walker who would take your dog on a high speed walk or even a run? Then I would be a great match for your dog. In I have been active all my life and served in the Dutch navy for several years. I always had dogs myself and loved training them and taking them on long walks. I think every dog deserves to go on adventures and do what dogs do best. Walk, sniff, play and test limits.

“Animals are my Happy Place !”
Hi, I LOVE all animals - especially dogs. I have owned many dogs over the years and have always had at least 2 in my home. We have 2 large rescue dogs now. My experience is from caring for my own dogs. I know you are busy but want to take good care of your pets. Let me help you with that. I believe strongly that beyond the basics animals deserve and need love, attention, exercise and fun. I think I'm a very good fit to help fill that void if you find you are too busy to do it yourself.

St. Augustine is known for its establishment as the oldest, continuously occupied settlement of European Origin of the United States, but it's making its way toward a pawesome new claim to fame - a pet-friendly city with a giant love for doggos! The old, historic city is moving toward a more dog-encouraged vibe, offering pet owners the ability to walk the aged, history-rich streets with a pup in tow and increasingly making their pubs, restaurants, and attractions more pooch-friendly.
A lot of this is due largely to the dog-shelters, organizations, and non-profits that are being built up in the area.
The S.A.F.E. Pet Rescue Inc., one of the most popular shelters in the area, was founded in 2008 with the goal of saving adoptable dogs and cats from euthanasia in the Northeast Florida Area. Since their inception, they've rescued about 7,000 lives! Their efforts are focused on rescuing pets from facilities that are unable to house them indefinitely, hosting them in their shelter or finding foster families.
Another popular organization is Wags & Whiskers, a non-profit dog rescue that uses volunteers to help rehome hundreds of dogs and cats in the area! They spay or neuter all animals that come through their doors, as well as provide them with the necessary vaccinations. They spend a great deal of time focusing on sheltering, fostering, and fundraising to keep homeless animals off the street.
Let's face it - the main reason you're in Florida in the first place is for the beaches. So, why wouldn't you want to bring your pup to join in the fun? Luckily, there are tons of dog-encouraged beaches in St. Augustine that allow you to bring your water-loving, sand-sniffing pooch. Check out Vilano Beach, a touch northeast of St. Augustine. It's located on the scenic and historic A1A byway. Take your polite, quiet pup here to enjoy the sand and surf, just make sure you clean up after him before you go! Another great option is Crescent Beach, just three short miles away from St. Augustine Beach, where there's plenty of sand and surf for you and Fido to explore. While visiting this beach, make sure you keep your pups leashed at all times.
One of the most beautiful things about historic St. Augustine is the diverse and rich food culture that lines George Street. Now, you don't have to pick and choose based on where your pup is allowed. Sign you and your doggo up for the Bone Appetit Tour - a pet-friendly food tour of the historic downtown. For $64, you and your furry pal can explore the diverse offerings led by an experienced, licensed guide. You'll receive generous tastings, for both you and your pup, and learn all about colonial pets, where they came from, and how they lived in old St. Augustine. You and your canine compadre won't want to miss out on this delicious event!
The best part about St. Augustine is its rich history, and we know you, and your pup, want nothing more than to explore it together. Now, you can! You and your four-legged friend are welcome to trot along the St. Augustine Pup Crawl Route to take a historic Pub Tour of the city. You'll learn about pets through the ages, sample beer, wine, soda or sangria at all the stops, and even enjoy a few special Pet Stops just for the doggos along the way! For only $49, you and your barky buddy can pub crawl along historic George Street and learn about the rich, cultural history of the city (all while drinking a pint of beer!)
Though St. Augustine isn't quite on the map for being considered a pawsitely dog-friendly spot yet, the city is working hard toward making the parks pet-friendly. It's a little-known fact that the famous Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is pet-encouraged! You and your pooch can explore the original 1565 site of St. Augustine together. For only $15, you and Fido can visit the nations oldest city and learn about the rich history spanning nearly 500 years! The only request? Don't let your thirsty pup drink out of the Fountain of Youth. If your pup isn't quite the history buff you are, you can take him to other doggy parks in the area. Check out Treaty Park on Wildwood Drive or Ron Parker Park on Old Beach Road. Just make sure you've got your pup's papers verifying his shots!

Hang ten - rather, hang 20! You and your surfing pooch can participate in the special Pups and Sups surfing competition each November! The two of you can team up to have a blast on the water, surf some waves, and help raise money for K-9s For Warriors, an organization that provides service animals to veterans and returning military personnel. Never surfed before? Your pup doesn't have a board? No worries, dudes! You and your doggo can borrow a surfboard to catch some sweet swells. Pups will be divided into three classes based on their weight. Come out to snag some surf, splash in the water with your four-legged friend, and support a great cause!
