Santa Paws Holiday Pooch Plunge
The Humane Society of Treasure Coast is hosting one of its most popular annual events, the Santa Paws Holiday Pooch Plunge! This event is a swim-session at the Sailfish Splash Waterpark for your pup before the facility closes down for the Floridian winter. You can swim with your pooch, snap a picture with Santa, enjoy food trucks, music, and a live raffle! Don't miss out on this rain-or-shine event. All proceeds benefit the HSTC and the canines they care for.24
Walton Rocks Dog Beach
Does your salty dog prefer an afternoon outside romping around in the waves? Can he not get enough of the sandy beaches in Florida? No problem! Hop in the car for a quick drive over to The Walton Rocks Dog Beach. It is one of the only spots in the surrounding areas of Stuart that allows you and your pooch to run free and off-leash together! Frolic through the waves, run around in the sand, or play a game of frisbee together. You can do it all at Walton Rocks Beach. The best part is, it's free to enjoy this beach!12
Corks and Collars
Do you and your fancy pupper want to attend a fun-filled event with a focus on philanthropy and fine Italian Dining? Look no further than the annual Corks and Collars event, hosted by the Dogs and Cats Forever Sanctuary, Inc. This night is full of fine-dining, sniffing, and lots of doggo fun! You and your canine companion can dress-pup in your finest attire, shell out a few bucks (for the less-fortunate pooches in your community, of course), and dine on the finest Italian food in the city! All proceeds from this event will benefit the animals of the Dog and Cats Forever Sanctuary Inc.
Sandi Paws Pet & People Parade
Though Stuart doesn't have its very own pet parade, you and your pawty-loving pooch aren't out of luck. Just a quick drive over to Fort Pierce will bring you to the annual Paws-n-Claws Sanid Paws Pet and People Walk-a-thon Pet Parade. Here, you'll find a fun-filled day with pet vendors, pet parades, a doggie fashion show, music, and other activities. This annual event started small but has grown so much over time that about 5,000 pooches (along with their pawrents) now attend the festival. You can even donate to the pet food pantry or bring toys for the pet toy collection drive!
