Pet Festival and Tailgate Pawty
This annual event in Pinellas is back, and all the Tarpon Springs pups are going - are you and your pooch? Join in for a tail-gaiting and pup pawty this February. You and your pooch are in for a real treat. Be sure to check out the ultimate puppy bowl. There will also be lots of dogs in sports costumes (how cute will that be?). You might want to bring some spare cash as there will be many local vendors on site. Don't miss this annual event hosted by the Humane Society of Pinellas County!36

Always looking for a chance to put your pooch in the spotlight? We've got the perfect activity for you - a photo shoot! Hosted by the Pinellas Humane Society, you and your pup can join the AGoldPhoto Pet Photography team at Flying Boat Brewery to take some professional pics and raise money for the humane society. For just $35, you and your doggo will receive an entire photo shoot with a minimum of 3 digital photos (there's no maximum!). Want your pics professionally edited? No problem! You can purchase that for an additional $20!12
Pet Walk for Tampa Bay
A few miles away from Tarpon Springs lies the city of St. Pete, where one of the largest pet walks in the area takes place! Hop in the car for an extra ten minutes and join in for the SPCA Tampa Bay Pet Walk. This annual event lets you and your pup raise fund for the SPCA while enjoying a pawesome, pup-filled day in a beautiful city. You and your pooch can join a team, or walk on your own. Either way, your day will be filled with food, fun, four-legged friends, and plenty of pup activities!
Dogtoberfest
It's one of the biggest Fall events on the Gulf Coast, and you and your pooch are invited! Dogtoberfest is an annual event, going on a decade strong in the beautiful, charming downtown of Dunedin. The event, put on by the Suncoast Animal League, will feature a full day of doggie fun for you and your pet, including a pet costume contest, a coronation of the dog King and Queen of the festival, a My Pet's Got Talent, an Alumni Parade, and most unique of all, the annual running of the wieners - that's right, it's wiener dog race!Don't miss out on this technically free event ($5 for parking) and don't forget to bring your four-legged friend to sniff around, meet new friends, and enjoy the festivities.
