Paws on Palafox is an annual dog walk that allows you to do exactly that! Held in April at Plaza de Luna Park, found at the south end of Palafox Street, this family-friendly event is the biggest annual fundraiser for Pensacola Humane Society’s Low-Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic. The 3K walk is always a hit with local animal lovers and their furry friends, and everyone enjoys the scenic route and the myriad pet photo op-paw-tunities along the way!

Barktoberfest
Barktoberfest is something of an institution on the annual canine social calendar in Pensacola and surrounding areas, and it’s not hard to see why. Held at Community Maritime Park, this fall event promises a day of fun in the sun for you, your pooch, and the whole family. Highlights of Barktoberfest include a huge range of pet product vendors, an agility display, exciting and hilarious doggie races, and plenty of grrr-eat giveaways. Held in September at the Bagdad Mill Site Park, Dog Days of Summer Fest features a 1-mile and half-mile fun run with pets.
