I've always been a pet owner; I have an 12 year old chihuahua, a 15 year old miniture pincher and a recently-rescued (10 year old) Great Pyrenees/ Nikita mix. I am also the proud owner of a green-cheek conure and a terrarium full of hermit crabs! I am a medical professional, taking leave from the industry as I refocus my career goals. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, I was committed to patient care and can offer that same level of commitment and professional dedication to your pets during those times you may not otherwise be available yourself. With that, I want to offer that I absolutely love animals...and will extend the same level of care to your pets that I offer my own to yours...along with the attention to detail needed to accommodate any and all of the individual needs you and/or your little (or big) loved ones may have during our time together.

Now that I have 200+ walks under my belt with wag! I figured it was about time to update this :) I’m Danielle and I was born and raised right here in Orlando Florida , so I’m very aware, comfortable and familiar with a lot of Orlando neighborhoods. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and I started to dog sit for my neighbors and family members when I was about 13, fast forward 15 years and I still always seemed to be doing the doggie favors so I decided to make it my job! And so far it’s been amazing and I’ve met some of the best (sometimes not the best but that’s ok;)) dogs ever ! I’m very confident in my abilities to handle your precious pup and have been “tested” a time or two on my strength and response time with aggressive dogs and stopping them from starting fights with other dogs. I’ll always give your dog all my attention for that time period I’m with them and won’t leave without giving them a treat and some fresh water :) If your dog has any allergies or you prefer I don’t give them a treat , no problem !! Just let me know and I will gladly abide by your dogs diet. I look forward to meeting your dog and taking them out for exercise and some freedom !

Dog Boarding in Winter Park

Winter Park, Florida is a great place to be a dog! There are a number of rescues, nonprofits, and other animal organizations in place to ensure that all creatures throughout Orange County are healthy, happy, and cared for. Of these, there are two major shelters serving the homeless dogs of Winter Park- Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and Orange County Animal Services. Their admirable efforts are responsible for finding homes for thousands of animals every year!

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando, formerly the Orlando Humane Society, was founded in 1937. As one of the largest and oldest animal welfare organizations in the state, the alliance strives to provide refuge for animals in need as well as programs and services promoting happy, healthy pets and families. The organization gives each pet that comes through their doors shelter, veterinary care, enrichment, playtime, and training.

Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando provides animal sheltering and adoption, welfare education and outreach, affordable veterinary clinics, and even a free pet food/veterinary care program for low-income seniors. It is their hope that through providing resources for not only homeless animals, but also families with pets, they can help keep dogs and cats in their homes and achieve a happier, healthier community. The organization operates three veterinary clinics, two stationary and one mobile, to ensure that every pet owner has access to affordable care and thus a healthy pet! They also promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare through community outreach, summer camps, and school-based education programs. Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando is committed to leading the community in ending pet homelessness!

Another shelter in place for the animals of Winter Park is Orange County Animal Services. This open-admittance shelter is a safe haven for any and all domestic animals in need throughout the county. The animal welfare organization offers a number of community-based services and programs while enforcing Orange County Code to protect both pets and people. Their comprehensive services include a field response team, pet rescue and adoption, a foster care program, low-cost microchipping, a volunteer program, mobile spay/neuters, and community outreach and education. Through their dedicated efforts, Orange County Animal Services strives to put every pet in their fur-ever home!
