Fur Kids Animal Rescue is Georgia's largest rescue and no-kill shelter. What exactly does "no-kill" mean? It means the staff and volunteers within this vast rescue network will never put down a healthy, loving, adoptable dog - ever. This means the staff will take as much time they need to show all the animals that come through their doors that humans are good, that the pet is loved and that they matter.
Some adoptable pets inside the rescue didn't have great starts and may need a lot of extra special attention. Being abused or abandoned is confusing for an animal, that did nothing to deserve it. Not only are they physically hurt, the abuse is also deeply psychological for the animal. Fur Kids will take as much time as it takes to let every dog recover in his/her own time. That is beautiful.
This non-profit, charitable business has a mission - to save all the unwanted, neglected, abused, timid, special-needs, aging, sick, healthy and homeless dogs and cats as it can and educate the community on the proper mental and physical care of all animals and on respect and patience.
Are you looking for a new friend? Fur Kids has over 100 adoptable babies in their rescue that are wanting to be loved, cherished, a little spoiled and safe for the rest of their lives. Can you open your heart and home to a beautiful fur baby that will thank you every day for making them a part of your family? Come by the rescue in nearby Atlanta, go to their website or come to the many weekend adoption events at Petco and PETSMART stores. They can't wait to meet you!
